Swedish Partner Lead Microsoft, Thomas Laine, welcomed the partners and took the opportunity to welcome the new Microsoft Dynamics Lead in Sweden, Mariette Larsson. After a business update, Senior Product Manager Kurt Juvyns from the global Microsoft Dynamics NAV team gave an update on the product roadmap and strategy and showed a couple of interesting scenarios with Microsoft Dynamics NAV in Office 365 on Microsoft Azure.
Master VAR and Repeatable Business model
Thomas Laine introduced the Master VAR concept and stressed how important this investment is to Microsoft. Joop van Voorthuijsen, CEO of QBS group, went on stage to present the QBS group offerings and the services offered to partners. He also shared experiences from other countries and the nearly 100 partners that have already signed up with QBS group. As a sneak preview to the partner community, he also gave a sneak preview around a new service, which is a cloud and repeatable offering centered around a new product from QBS group called 365Suite. This offering will help and enable partners to compete even more effectively in the future with the changed conditions in the market from cloud-based offerings and the new buying behaviors from customers.
Cooperation PDC Sweden
Together with Michael Uhman from PDC Sweden, QBS group made clear that the strategy for the Dynamics Partners in Sweden is to work closely with PDC Sweden, as they already are in close dialogue with Swedish partners on cloud transformation, stronger focus on marketing and other areas of business development.
The day ended with a good dialogue and feedback from the Microsoft Dynamics NAV partners over a nice Italian inspired buffet.
Next step in Sweden will be an online meeting for those partners not present at the NAV VIP Forum and 1:1 meetings with all interested partners in Sweden over the next months.
