Ready to Power workshop – Poland

2 day workshop: 25 + 26 September 2019

In this workshop, you will learn how to create custom business applications without writing code by leveraging Microsoft’s Business Application Platform technologies – PowerApps, Microsoft Flow and CDS for Applications.

You will learn how to build custom apps that run on mobile devices and share them inside your organization securely.

This workshop covers basics of PowerApps, the common data service and Microsoft Flow with specific use cases and lab exercises.

Participants will get hands-on experience working with PowerApps, the common data service and Microsoft Flow, and will also build a sample application.

Day 1

-Demonstration
Live demo of the Model Driven app and CDS. You will learn about the possibilities, the limitations and how to  get started.
-Hands-on Exercise
A problem will be presented, you will create a solution with the Microsoft Power platform.

Day 2
-Welcome
Recap of day 1 and intro for day 2
-Power Platform presentation
What is PowerApps Canvas apps
What is Flow
-Demonstration
Live demonstration of Canvas app and Flow. You will learn about the possibilities, limitations and how to connect these elements to the Model Driven app and CDS.
– Hands-on Exercise
To complete the app build on day 1, the solution will be extended with a Canvas App and Flow.
