No more sails in Microsoft Dynamics logo
Microsoft has announced some important changes in her branding strategy. One of the changes is that the three sails are gone from the well-known Microsoft Dynamics logo.
The changes are the result of the ‘One Microsoft’ approach of CEO Satya Nadella. Microsoft wants users to combine different Microsoft solutions and use them as one. Different logos for different solutions don’t fit the approach of ‘Microsoft as a complete solution’ and therefore Microsoft’s branding is now more uniform. You can see an example of the new branding strategy and logos below.
New logo for Microsoft Dynamics
One of the major changes is a new logo for Microsoft Dynamics. The logo no longer has the three sails in it. It is now a blue boxtile with the name of the specific solution on the left upper side (see example below).
Microsoft has also developed new Dynamics-icons for apps (see example below).
How to use the new branding strategy
Microsoft would like partners to use the new logos in their communication materials. But for now this only applies to new materials, so it is not necessary to update all of your existing materials.
