New 0% finance campaign to drive partner sales of Microsoft Dynamics NAV products

14 September 2016 – Quattro Business Solutions (QBS Group), the UK’s leading Microsoft Dynamics Master VAR managing the largest and fastest growing, international network of Microsoft Dynamics partners, has launched a subsidised finance programme to enable its business partners to accelerate growth by overcoming customer budgetary or cash constraints.

QBS Group supports 350 reseller and independent software vendor (ISVs) partners in 15 countries and routinely reports that partners in its programme generate up to 40% more business than those without their support. The QBS Group Finance programme has been designed and developed by Syscap, the UK’s leading finance provider for IT, and will be officially unveiled at the company’s QBShare partner conference at Microsoft’s UK headquarters in Reading today.

The programme will commence with an extended payment finance incentive to help QBS’ business partners boost recurring revenue sales of Microsoft Dynamics solutions by closing more deals. The two-year 0% payment terms offer will run until further notice and has been created to enable legacy NAV clients to upgrade to the software’s current version. The offer is available on Microsoft Dynamics NAV products including perpetual licenses, services and support for deals of £20,000 and above.

Three-year terms are also available with QBS Group’s business partner customers receiving a blended rate which is below the current mid market rates to assist them to acquire the Dynamics solutions they need, when they need them. Partners can also enhance their service offering by providing payment-over-time options for maintenance and support contracts, helping boost renewal ratios and increasing customer retention.

William McIntee, UK Lead at Quattro Business Solutions, comments, “We have forged an enviable reputation for providing comprehensive and unrivalled support to our Dynamics partners and our partnership with Syscap further enhances our services to them. Syscap has a deep understanding of the Microsoft Dynamics channel which was instrumental in us appointing them to be our sole finance provider.

“Syscap’s tailored finance solutions remove barriers to sale provided by the customer’s immediate budget. This will significantly enhance our partners’ competitive advantage and empower them to realise the enormous growth potential offered by Microsoft Dynamics NAV products.”

Philip White, Managing Director of Syscap, says, “We have developed a comprehensive finance scheme to make Microsoft Dynamics NAV solutions easier to sell. Our compelling 0% finance incentive removes the risk and cost of payment collection and will allow partners to identify and close more revenue opportunities without them having to resort to unnecessary discounting.

“We will also offer QBS Group partners informed advice, tailored financial solutions and support on both an individual and company-wide basis so they can develop  stronger relationships with their customers’ key decision makers to close more lucrative sales opportunities.”

QBS group appoints former Microsoft SMB global partner sales lead Michael Hartmann as CCO

QBS group (“QBS”), part of The IT Channel Company (“TICC”), in Leusden appoints Michael Hartmann as Chief Commercial Officer per October 1st 2016.

For the coming years QBS expects a strong growth, both in footprint and services portfolio in which Michael’s experience and background will be of great value. Michael Hartmann (54) has extensive experience in the ICT sector and had several leading management positons at Microsoft. Prior to joining TICC Michael was the European Middle East and Africa Timezone Lead for Microsoft’s SMB business as well as the Global Lead for Dynamics SMB Partners within Microsoft, recently. In this role his objective was to double the channel sales capacity for CRM Online in SMB, activate the commercial distribution and indirect CSP channel for Business Applications and building the Dynamics SMB teams.

About The IT Channel Company

The IT Channel Company was founded in 2012 as the result from the merger between ICT service providers Conceptsales and Partner Master Class. Since the start in 2012 TICC has experienced a stormy development and will reach a revenue of € 55 million in 2016. Within TICC QBS takes care of the distribution of the Microsoft Dynamics product range in Western Europe. QBS operates in 15 countries in Western Europe, serving more than 350 partners. For the coming years a solid growth is expected. QBS supports its partners with services in areas such as marketing, lead generation, sales support and consultancy, partner and customer care, hosting solutions, training and coaching. Last year QBS introduced the OneBizz proposition; a modular cloud application for SMEs with amongst others Office365 (Outlook, SharePoint, Yammer, Skype for Business), Microsoft Dynamics CRM and ERP.

What is the Microsoft CSP Program?

In order to be successful in a Cloud first, Mobile first world, Microsoft and her partners needed not just other solutions and marketing policies, but also modernized licensing policies.

That’s why Microsoft came up with the so called Cloud Solution Provider program – in short CSP. This program helps Microsoft partner become their customers’ trusted advisors. By using CSP, partners are able to own and manage the end-to-end relationship with their customers.

Dynamics strategy officer Jeff Edwards named CSP “The license model of the future”. It’s also important for all of us to realize that CSP is a partner led model. As a matter of fact, Microsoft did some experiments with direct sales. This experiment was based on BPOS, the precursor of Office 365. However, the results of this try-out was that direct deals led to financial loss and poor customer satisfaction scores. For Microsoft another confirmation that the indirect model with partners is the best model for the company!

The main challenge for Microsoft cloud partners is to combine, package, sell, deliver and support all the value of the Microsoft stack into attractive and repeatable all-in solutions for the customers in their targeted markets. CSP heavily supports that process.

Microsoft works with two versions of CSP, called Tier 1 for the direct channel and Tier 2 for the indirect channel. This is shown in the slide below.

Dynamics partner have to choose at least one of the two models. For AX partners Tier 1 even roughly is the only recommended approach. Or partners can take both models.

Partners who select the indirect channel need to find themselves an Indirect Provider that can support them in their daily business. All the big international Microsoft distributors (“disti’s”) are offering indirect CSP to partners today. However, for Dynamics partners it’s pretty important to also look at the knowledge that these providers have from the Dynamics processes and products.

More and more Microsoft cloud solutions can only be sold through the CSP model. Dynamics 365 for example will not become part of the Dynamics pricelist, but will only be available via CSP. An extra reason for all Dynamics partners to learn more from CSP, make a choice and sign up!

Microsoft Partner Network changes competencies (MPN Evolution)

Microsoft is changing its program for a large number of competencies (MPN Evolution). For now, this doesn’t affect Microsoft Dynamics NAV partners having an active ERP competency, but it does have consequences for other competencies such as CRM.

QBS group expands her activities to Germany and now represents the largest global Microsoft Dynamics Partner network with close to 300 Microsoft Dynamics partners in 14 countries.

Leusden/Munich, January 2016

Quattro Business Solutions (QBS group), Microsoft and Konica Minolta IT Solutions GmbH have reached an agreement, under which QBS group takes over all Microsoft Dynamics Master VAR activities of Konica Minolta IT Solutions GmbH.

QBS DACH will be the new organisation taking care of the activities related to the role of QBS group as Distributor for Microsoft Dynamics in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

This step means an acceleration in the QBS DACH investments in people and local (German language) partner services, that will directly benefit the current 50 QBS partners and will strengthen the QBS community. Next to this it enables QBS DACH to scale up and welcome and support more Microsoft Dynamics partners from Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Based upon the planned growth of QBS DACH and other regions, QBS group will support over 400 Microsoft Dynamics Partners and ISV Partners by the end of 2016, indirectly supporting more than 40.000 Microsoft Dynamics customers.

Joop van Voorthuijsen, CEO of QBS group: “I am very proud that we have reached this agreement and now also support many partners in Germany. In less than three years we have grown our organisation to now supporting close to 300 Microsoft Dynamics partners in 14 countries. This is a great achievement and I am proud of what our team has achieved. Recent information from Microsoft shows that on average QBS partners outperform non-QBS partners, underlining the success of our network. With the addition of QBS Germany as part of QBS DACH to QBS group, we have an even stronger foundation for future success for all stakeholders; customers, partners, QBS group and Microsoft.”

QBS-group -Thomas -Kombrecht -Microsoft

Thomas Kombrecht, Senior Product Marketing Manager of Microsoft Germany: The goal of Microsoft is to consistently continue the two-tier distribution model for the Microsoft Dynamics NAV channel, which was already implemented in many other European countries. It should also be ensured that the service offering to the partners in the various countries is uniform. QBS group doesn’t interact directly with end customers and is ideally positioned to support partners in the Microsoft Dynamics area.”

QBS group partners Rainbow Solutions and Quadira join forces

Rainbow Solutions has started a full partnership with Quadira to offer and support Quadira’s Advanced-Forms® Output Management to their customers.

Advanced-Forms® is the Output Management solution for the easy design, enrichment, distribution and digital archiving of any document. Advanced-Forms® seamlessly integrates with Microsoft Dynamics software and is Microsoft certified (CfMD) for NAV2013, NAV2015, NAV2016 and AX2012. This has made Rainbow Solutions decide to add Advanced-Forms® as ISV solution for NAV to their NaviTrans solution. Rainbow will implement this total solution at their new customer Mooy Logistics.

Hajo Kanters, founder and CEO at Quadira: “Advanced-Forms® is the state of the art output management solution which we have developed based on a clear requirement of customers in several branches, such as the Dynamics NAV community. Many of those customers are looking for a solution with which they can easily create documents, add extra data to those documents and distribute them automatically in an digital format. Normally this can only be done through customization by specialists from the ERP partners. We noticed that among the Dynamics partners, such as Rainbow Solutions, there is a strong demand to minimize these activities as much as possible, so that they can focus on the ERP implementation itself. This has already been successfully revealed at several Rainbow Solutions customers. That is why Rainbow and we have decided to do this installation at Mooy Logistics together, in a partnership”.

Wim Korte, CEO at Rainbow Solutions: “We see a clear requirement in the Dynamics NAV market for solutions where users can easily digitize and automate the outgoing document process flow. Advanced-Forms® has already proven itself for several years now with a solid and highly skilled Quadira organisation”. ”We therefore have decided to include Advanced-Forms® in our total product portfolio and our total solution which we are now going to implement at our new customer Mooy Logistics”. “We are very enthusiastic about all the options and features that Advanced-Forms® offers and we look forward to a long term partnership. Quadira will fully train and certify our people, so that we can implement and support Advanced-Forms® by ourselves”.
