About the position
We are looking for a passionate Business Software Consultant.
The Business Software Consultant plays an important role in identifying opportunities for our partners located in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. We achieve this by taking forward new leads and transferring these into the final sales phase. You will be contacting new customers and supporting them through the first step of their purchasing journey, you will do this by engaging with the customer via Telephone & Email while also acting as a representative for Microsoft and the QBS group.
Your direct contact with end-customers is aimed at moving the potential customer further down the pipeline, ultimately handing them over to a selected partner. Since you are their trusted advisor, you will also stay in contact after handing them over to the partner to ensure a successful landing and in the end, a win!
In this role you are responsible to follow up on (new) customers that have expressed interest in business solutions. You qualify where they are in their decision process and hand the lead over to a specialized partner in our network. You work closely together with your colleagues. You also have a working relationship with the various partners of QBS and other internal and external stakeholders.
Communication is key and therefore it is important, that you are business fluent in writing and speech. As we are an international company, being business fluent in English is needed.
You will be working with online media such as website, blog, chat, e-mail, web-meeting and social media (management) tools, so experience with these is considered a plus. Next to this, our CRM tool is one of the most important management tools you will be working with to keep track of leads, opportunities, and reporting.
You should be able to work independently and with a team, also have a proactive and customer-focused attitude. You know your responsibilities and act in accordance with these. You are precise, dynamic, and ambitious and know how to convince people. And above all, you know how to have fun while performing.
Experience within the IT software industry is important. Knowledge of the business solutions market (ERP, CRM) is a plus.

- Have excellent communication skills in English
- Are experienced in working with Microsoft Office
- Have excellent telephone skills in order to establish and manage relationships with potential customers
- Always aim for quality in your work by being complete, accurate and punctual
